Teams

What are the Teams?

The 2015 Landmark conference required a team of around 200 volunteers to make it happen and we will need similar numbers this time. We would love you to come and be a part of one of our teams. Lots of people who did last time expressed a great sense of satisfaction at facilitating the conference for other delegates and had loads of fun at the same time. Teams will work in shifts and discounted tickets are available for many of these roles. Below is a brief outline of the roles we need help with. If you want to be part of the team that makes Landmark happen, we’d love to have you apply. We’d love to use your God given talents used at Landmark and there are so many areas you can get involved. Whether you have A/V experience, love working with kids, have logistic skills, or are fierce looking enough to be security, we want you involved in this weekend event! If you want more information go to the Landmark website: www.lancsandlakes.org.uk or email info@lancsandlakes.org.uk.

Volunteers

Join the stewarding team at Landmark!

Stewards are responsible for the smooth and safe running of the conference and help to provide the public face of the event. They are responsible for the checking of badges, maintaining emergency access to the site and the various venues, site security, and generally assisting people as they enter and move around the event.

You will need to be able to communicate well with other people, be confident, friendly and welcoming as well as have a good sense of humour and be able to work well under pressure.

The role is physical and will involve long periods of time on your feet. The ability to work well in a team is essential; there will be 3 teams of stewards, led by a team leader, working on a shift rotation system throughout the weekend.

Please Note:

  • You MUST download, fill in, and submit a team role application form, as well as booking an event ticket.
  • Applying for a team does not guarantee acceptance onto the team.
  • 50% discounted ticket available for most volunteer roles on Steward’s Team (subject to approval from team leader)

Ministry

Join the ministry assistant team at Landmark!

The primary role of the Ministry Assistants team is to facilitate prayer ministry in the adult venues, praying with delegates and also helping them to engage with praying for each other. We are looking for people who are passionate about prayer ministry and desire to see others raised up, as well as gently coaching so that delegates are protected from inappropriate practices. This team will also assist the venue hosts with house-keeping duties, such as ensuring the venue remains tidy and presentable, putting out resources, helping people who are struggling to find seats, etc.

We would expect anybody joining this team to already be active in prayer ministry in their own churches.

Please Note:

  • You MUST download, fill in, and submit a team role application form, as well as booking an event ticket.
  • Applying for a team does not guarantee acceptance onto the team.
